Have you ever shut down an idea, turned away from an opportunity, or declined to speak up or volunteer for something because you thought you weren't qualified? God has a funny habit of using the most unlikely people to accomplish the most incredible things. In my recent Bible readings, I've been struck by how unqualified and inadequate Moses actually was to be a political and spiritual leader of an entire nation of people. Moses tried to tell God several times that he wasn't the right person for the job, but God knew otherwise. What does the story of Moses tell us about our own struggle with 'imposter syndrome?' What does God want us to do when we find ourselves feeling called to a situation or position that we do not feel personally qualified to take on? Listen in the episode 23 for my thoughts... *** Faith and Fitness is a podcast that mixes topics of spirituality and Christianity with fitness inspiration, motivational stories, and random things that happen to pique my interest. While the initial 21 day program is meant to launch you on your journey to a healthier body and soul, it doesn't stop there. We will keep pushing ourselves to be better, discovering wisdom and truth, and bearing our struggles together along the way. *** Kristen S. Osborne is a fitness coach, writer, and attorney from Birmingham, Alabama. She is a dog mom and a police wife. Kristen offers fitness and nutrition coaching services through the world-renowned Beachbody programs and products. Visit www.fitfiercefight.com for more resources and to join one of her fitness challenges.
