Every new year is an opportunity granted to everyone of us to start again that which we intend achieving but failed to materialized in previous year. It will be of great importance to us to take note of the following principles in order to keep the new year running smoothly; 1. Start the year with God and end the year with God. John 15:1-7. 2. Forget about the past, you can't connect the dots looking backward. 3. Plan, though we can't plan enough to advert some life circumstance, some unforeseen events of life but in all planning is still very important to ones life at every given point in time. Proverbs 19:21 4. Stay focus, if you must achieve your goals for the new year remaining focus is a must. Proverbs 22:29 5. Persistence, is the kinetic energy behind every successful pursuit in life. 6. Don't spend more than you earn, don't live to showoff or impress anyone be yourself all through the year. 7. Reading, research has proven that if you stop reading you start dying mentally, so make out time for study. Don't be too busy not to read at least one book for a month. Growth and development is the outcome of this exercise. 8. Love your wife, respect your husband. Ephesians 5. So that you will have peace and joy in abundance in your home. 9. Don't waste your time on fruitless venture. 10. Be punctual, in church, at work and at home. 11. Let honesty, integrity and truthfulness be your watch word. 12. Don't be idle, make sure you are doing something meaningful at every point in time. 13. Reduce the amount of time you spend on social media, watching TV show and do more research. 14. Be wise in making friends. 15. Be patient, anything worthwhile takes time to materialize and come to fruition. 16. Give, giving can only add to you not reduce you. Luke 6:38. 17. Stop complaining and blaming those who have refused to help you, you can become better with or without them. 18. Invest, build your wealth through investment in stock, commodity, real estate etc. Don't eat all your earnings. 19. Talkless, it makes no meaning arguing with people when they refuse to accept the simple truth. 20. Pray, give thanks to your Maker everyday.
