Swade continues sharing his bookstore stories as he keeps having customers that he wants to talk about. Walter has plans to go hiking today and Swade finds it hard to believe because Walter has never done any exercise in his life. (00:18:01) Walter talks about Kidlat Tahimik's "Perfumed Nightmare", a unique film that is half a documentary and a narrative story. The film's post colonial satire is very funny and its documentary bits give some insight into parts of Filipino culture. (00:33:37) Swade talks about Mikhail Red's "Eerie", a ghost film from the Philippines. The film opens up a conversation about the differences between philosophical and visual scares and also the differences between Eastern and Western horror.
