I Was Wrong - Trump Does NOT Get Post-Shooting Poll Bump

Once again defying conventional wisdom and historical precedent, the first polls released after Saturday's shooting show that Donald Trump is NOT getting a polling bounce, at least not yet. This is a fairly big deal, as past politicians have received significant bumps after overcoming a tragedy, but apparently Trump's unfavorables aren't going to be undone that easily.
Also, Donald Trump announced that freshman Republican Senator J.D. Vance is going to be his running mate this year, and his MAGA fanatics are not exactly thrilled with this decision. They lashed out at the former President for picking someone that they call a RINO, reminding Trump that Vance made a name for himself by attacking him before doing a complete, self-serving flip flop.
And Donald Trump Junior got visibly frustrated with an MSNBC reporter at the RNC convention this week after the reporter asked a simple, but tough, question about his father's immigration policies. Junior immediately tried to flip things and claim that the media is responsible for calling his father "divisive" and causing the shooting on Saturday, and then he called the reporter a "clown" and told him to get out of there.
Finally, Alina Habba still doesn't understand how the legal system works, and she made that clear when she whined to Fox News this week about her client - Donald Trump - being treated like a criminal. He IS a criminal in the eyes of the law, and he has been convicted of 34 felony counts. Habba also whined that she isn't getting any credit for all of the "victories" she had working for Trump, but there aren't any to actually brag about.
