This week Naomi interviews her husband, Stephen McDougall Graham, about his long and now quickly blossoming journey towards becoming a professional violinist (hint: he took a highly unusual decade-long detour through non-profits and international family planning services). Stephen talks about what it’s like to return full-time to your passion after years doing something else, the fear he had to overcome to do it, and what it felt like to, at long last, make his NYC soloist debut last Friday with The Chelsea Symphony. Stephen and Naomi also talk about what it’s like inside a marriage of two artists.

Favorite Thing This Week: Brene Brown’s TEDTalk The Power of Vulnerability. Available to watch here: https://www.ted.com/talks/brene_brown_on_vulnerability

As always, the work of this podcast is for Naomi to help you and herself crack the nut of how to have a life as an artist and entrepreneur, so if you have stories to share from your own life – successes, failures, times you learned something – or if you have a question you would like Naomi to answer or find the answer to or a person you would like her to interview – send them all her way.
