In this message, we continue exploring the theme of sanctification—how God's transformation of our hearts extends beyond just major life changes. It reaches into the everyday, mundane decisions we make. Paul teaches us in 1 Thessalonians 4:9-12 that our sanctification not only impacts our sexual ethic but also our relationships, our attitudes, and even our work. We look at three key areas of transformation for the new man in Christ: The New Man Loves His Brother: We're called to love one another with a growing, never-content kind of love, just as Christ loves us. Our love is the foundational marker of our faith. The New Man Avoids Drama: Paul calls us to lead a quiet life, minding our own business. Instead of focusing on other people's mess, we're called to deal with our own sin humbly and repentantly. The New Man Works Hard: We’re called to work with diligence and integrity, not just to provide for ourselves but to glorify God. Work is not beneath us—it’s a way to show the world Christ through how we labor. Our faith should touch every aspect of our lives, making the mundane extraordinary. Are you letting the Gospel transform the everyday parts of your life?…
In this sermon from 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8, we explore what it means to live as 'The New Man' in Christ. We'll discuss how salvation gives us a desire to please God, what sanctification looks like as we're set apart for His purposes, and how we're called to live in purity, especially regarding sexual immorality. Join us as we dive deeper into God's design for holiness and the practical implications it has on our daily lives.…
