In this episode we cover our clears and strategies for Scorn of the Beasts of the Dark (Dark Ifrit/Dark Siren).

First we discuss the update to the most recent farming event. There's only 1 round on LGD tier which is amazing is it takes significantly less time. Yes, it is a bit harder to do, but if you can get your team down, it makes it easier going forward and saves you tons of time killing pointless enemies. This change has the Miniado seal of approval!

The Scorn of the Beasts trial can be quite tricky. Although you may be able to AoE Burst them (pretty hard if you ask me) to get the full clear, it takes some DPS management as well as the right selection of tanks and healers. It's more than just "tank everything for me." It requires that you choose the right tank for the job.

Although they do a lot of elemental magic damage, it turns out that covering your team from the physical damage is way more important. Keeping track of things like the enemy buffs, dispelling them when they appear, and reapplying your own breaks is essential. If you have to choose, break Dark Siren as she is susceptible to ATK/MAG breaks (Dark Ifrit is not).

The route we took was to deal with Dark Siren first, kill her, then turn our attention to Dark Ifrit.

With Dark Ifrit alone, you just have to manage his buffs, breaks, and focus on not dealing too much damage all at once, unless its going to kill him. If you do too much damage and he's alive... get ready to be wiped!
