We thought college would prepare us for real world work, not even close. The societal norm that going to college is the best thing to do to accelerate your career and prepare yourself to be an adult, everything but correct. Does it help? Sure. It's easy to argue any class of any subject can give you an opportunity to learn. College was a mental, ego inflation that gets you to believe it's the best 4-8 years and$100k of your entire life.
