Without a doubt, the most unlikely film of the year: both in it's heartbreaking subject matter, as well as it's unlikely journey from concept to creation. The other unlikely factor: the amount of humour in the dark events of this story. Kennether Lonergan's film (he wrote and directed) has six Academy Award nominations. The question is, does the film contain a single bad moment? The answer to this, we all agree on.
