Just because it’s a fad doesn’t mean we have to line up and follow the pack, you know that right? We are human beings with the power and ability to reason and question the things that go on around us. By “masking” the problem I am referring to putting a bandaid over a knife wound instead of “Fixing” the problem by going and getting the wound stitched so that it heals properly without further negative consequences (infection, etc.). When thinking about our health and daily body functionality are we putting on multiple bandaids (taking pain killers, calling in “sick” to work, etc.) everyday or are we seeking out solutions (making an appointment with a physiotherapist, chiropractor, massage therapist, dentist, doctor, naturopath, changing eating habits, tracking our food consumption, etc.) to fix the underlying problems?
