Dr. Sonja Cherry-Paul has adapted Stamped (For Kids), the #1 New York Times best selling children's book. She is an educator, author, and the co-founder of the Institute for Racial Equity in Literacy. Sonja is the Director of Diversity and Equity at the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project at Columbia University and the host of The Black Creators Series. She develops curricula that centers the work of racial literacy in K-12 schools. Sonja leads presentations at educational conferences and works with educators around the world providing professional development on antiracist reading and writing instruction.
