November is a dark time so we lightened it up with a childrens book about being awake in winter when you are meant to be sleeping. Moominland Midwinter is the fifth book in the Moomin series first published in 1957 it remains relavent today teaching us to be gay and do crimes and have extra compassion for neighbours - unless they blow military horns.
