The Mikes are going back to 1987 to meet some robots, who might be aliens, but are definitely going to have some robot lovin' and make some robot babies as they look at the Brad Bird written, *batteries not included, directed by Matthew Robbins.

Listen in as Mike Butler and Mike Field talk about this feel good 80's movie, that upon closer inspection leaves a lot to be desired in terms of story and character development. Butler enjoys the message of the movie and that film such as this would never be made nowadays, but like Field cannot get past the vague and sudden appearance of the little robots, or the lack of clear definition of its human cast of characters.

So, grab your popcorn and soda, please notice the exits to the left and right of you and settle down for Forgotten Cinema.
