hosted on the Amplify 817 streaming platform. The free concert at Will Rogers Auditorium

starts with a special outdoor preshow performance at 6:30 p.m. The showcase starts on the

iconic Will Rogers Auditorium stage at 7 p.m.

The showcase lineup includes courtyard entertainment outside of the auditorium from taiko

drum band, Goisagi who joined Amplify 817 in 2022. The on-stage lineup follows inside with

Amanda Victoria, Phantomelo, Denver Williams and closes the evening with Lou CharLe$.

“Our annual showcase is another opportunity we have to financially and promotionally support

our musicians who have become a part of the Amplify 817 family,” said Rita Alfaro, Lead

Curator and Fort Worth Public Library Music Librarian. “We are constantly striving to find

opportunities to support our artists and are thrilled to see the showcase grow.”

This year’s showcase is proudly part of the greater 817 Celebration, which aims to host concerts

and create experiences that celebrate Fort Worth and Texas music. The first 817 Celebration

concert is Thursday, Aug. 17 also at Will Rogers Auditorium followed by the free Showcase on

Friday, Aug. 18. These events play into the local love of Fort Worth, the 817 area code and the

calendar date of 8/17.

Admission to the Amplify 817 Showcase is complimentary thanks in part to the support from

community donors through the Fort Worth Public Library Foundation. Reservations can be

made at fwpl.info/817. Parking within the Will Rogers Memorial Center is $12 per vehicle.
