Once upon a time… there was a powerful film producer named Jeffery Katzenberg who had a crisis upon him of a fearful sort, which could only be fixed by creating a hit animated film.
Katzenberg was banished from his old kingdom at Walt Disney Studios, so he helped create a new kingdom, DreamWorks, which would help him make an animated film greater than anything he made at Disney. Many brave animated films were sent off to win glory for Katzenberg, but none prevailed.
Then one day, Katzenberg learned of an ogre named SHREK, a character unlike any he had seen before. Maybe this ogre could do what no one else could, and save the kingdom of DreamWorks.
