Today on the Friends in Beauty Podcast I welcome Makeup Artist + Beauty Educator, Nicky Posley, to the Friends in Beauty guest chair.

Nicky Posley's journey into makeup began through a strong fascination in the transformative power of beauty, art and fashion. A fine artist first, Nicky experimented with many visual art forms, eventually finding the one that would become his career.

He is both a working artist, and a respected international educator. He believes that makeup is art, and that art is empowerment. Whether it be slick and modern, or primitive and raw, art can evoke emotions deeply rooted in the human experience. Like the human experience, it is ever-changing, and always evolving...

I had such an amazing time chatting with Nicky. It’s always a pleasure to listen to him speak. I met Nicky in 2015 when I took a 1:1 lesson with him (the best I’ve ever taken that has transformed my artistry so much) and he’s truly one of the most genuine and gentle souls that I’ve come across in the beauty industry and I knew I had to have him come and share with the Friend in Beauty community.
