Suspensions, Infinite examines the language of propaganda films to create an experimental essay film on vanishing forms of working, cycles of exploitation, and the role of human attention (as a labor form in itself) within surveillance capitalism. Through a cinematic portrait of a Portuguese family's labor histories from 1900-2002, a continuum is exposed, about life as an immigrant, as a queer person, as almost-working class, and as astute observers of power imbalances within our current means of connection.
