Yer Big Dog has always said we need more dudes doing great things for dogs! A few weeks ago I met Brett Simon by virtue of our work for Fetch Petcare.
His mom didn't let him have a dog when he was a kid so the first job he signed up for was as a K9 officer and that changed his life. Brett then worked on a military service dog program in Iraq after which he founded K9 for Warriors which has placed over a thousand service dogs with wounded veterans.
Brett then founded Service Dogs 4 Vets, a consortium of 19 organizations that sets high standards for its members. And he works with Fetch Petcare which is how I came to know him. It's a dudes that help dogs episode!
