Slightly later than usual due to a technical issue (...that being Dave's brain technically forgot to remind him it was Tuesday and to upload it...), we are back with the latest episode of the Geektown Radio podcast! This week our Matt from Entertainment Talk joins Dave to chat through the latest news in TV shows and films.
As Matt returns to the co-host, he chats about finishing up Netflix's live-action series 'One Piece', and also checking out some of the animated version too. Sticking with animation, he's also been catching up on the 'X-Men' series on Disney+ in preparation for the arrival of 'X-Men '97'. We also discuss the latest Jack Whitehall stand-up on Netflix. Meanwhile, Dave has been watching 'Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning, Part 1' so gives his review on that. He also reviews new Apple TV+ series 'Constellation' which dropped today. On the gaming front, we have reviews of the early-access game 'Forever Skies', and Obsidian Entertainment's excellent 'Grounded'.
Heading into the news updates, we've got all the latest on all the recent renewals, cancellations, and pickups, including dates for final seasons of ‘Star Trek: Discovery‘, ‘The Umbrella Academy‘, and 'SWAT'.
