Roll out the welcome mat to 2024, as the Geektown Radio podcast returns for our first show of the new year! This week, Matt from Entertainment Talk joins Dave to chat through the latest news in TV shows, films, and video games.

Matt has been watching the film 'Missing', which is the follow-up to the movie 'Searching', and stars Storm Reid, so gives us his review. We also chat about the recent season of 'Harley Quinn', and (at the urging of his sister) he has just started getting into the live-action Netflix series 'One Piece'. Meanwhile, Dave has been finishing up the 2nd Season of 'Reacher', along with binging his way through 'Fool Me Once' on Netflix, and 'Echo' on Disney+. He also reviews the first episode of new firefighter drama 'Fire Country' which landed last week on Sky.

Over in the news updates, we've got all the latest on all the recent renewals, cancellations, and pickups since we've been away, which includes some shocks in the cancellations, such as a beloved pirate series and medical drama. We also talk about the new season of 'Halo', a new 'Star Trek' film, 'The Mandalorian & Grogu' leaping to the big screen, and ‘The Last Of Us’ casting. Listen below!
