It's time to take a trip through a young Anne Lister's life to take a look at the relationship and the woman who's had the most influence over her life- Mariana Lawton. In this #HistoricalNightcap installment we cover the years 1816-1819, beginning with Mariana's honeymoon for which Anne is present, and ending with one of the best kisses* the two women will share. Along the way Anne dotes on other women like her old pal Isabella, and new girl Miss Browne, while being gay af in 19th century Halifax.
