This week's edition of Afrika in Focus poses the suggestion why Afrika must unite by any means necessary.
Firstly we take a look at a couple of other stories.
Ghana has reached a board level agreement with the IMF to obtain a US$3 billion bailout over the next 3 years in an attempt to balance its books.
We maintain that Ghana did not need to go to the IMF and warn of some of the dire consequences of this agreement.
Next we touch on the issue of the recent COVID 19 vaccinations program and report of the many deaths from the vaccine since it was administered.
We go into our main subject matter looking at why Afrika must unite.
We cite that the map of Afrika we see today is as the result of the wicked Congress of Berlin 1884/1885, where insatiable Europeans carved up Afrika like a pizza into the geo political entities we see today.
We detail where Afrika Day came from and cite the influence Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana had on the formation of the Organization for African Unity (OAU), today's African Union (AU).
We state giving cogent reasons why Afrika must unite given the world geo political order as it stands , the external factors hampering Afrikan unity and the stark consequences of Afrika not uniting.
