Today I'm introducing you to Maddie Madsen. She's a creator, composer, Current Music founder, and one courageous entrepreneur. You can't escape her music, it's everywhere on the networks!
Gone are the days when record companies would take care of everything. Nowadays, you've got to work your butt off, create amazing music, record, mix, master, promote it, and maybe, just maybe, a label mightpick you up. That means you're the boss! You foot the bill for everything, from studio time to marketing. It's a risky business, and there are no guarantees .
It's like a double-edged sword, really. On one hand, there are plenty of opportunities out there for aspiring musicians, but on the other hand, you've got to channel your inner entrepreneur and be ready to take some major financial and creative risks. It's not for the faint of heart, but if Maddie can do it, so can you! So get out there and create some awesome music.
