My 6th guest as part of my Launch Series is a physician who I admire for her passion to promote sleep as the key to healthy living. Dr. Andrea Matsumura, M.D., is a board certified Internal Medicine physician who initially worked as a hospitalist then transitioned to clinic work in the outpatient primary care setting. This is where she sparked her love for sleep as an integral role in overall health. Now, after being fellowship trained in Sleep Medicine, Dr. Matsumura describes herself as a wholistic sleep medicine physician and emphasizes to her patients the importance of sleep as an key piece to wellness. And she's here to offer her thoughts on how she defines health. I hope Dr. Matsumura’s definition helps to redefine what health means for you.
