The sword in the stone. Lady of the Lake. King Arthur. Camelot. A fish?! Squirrels...? A giant rabbit?? What's going on here? What's going on is the weird mix of lore, fairy tales, feature films, and just plain old making things up that goes along with the story of a sword that isn't the one you're thinking of, and a king who might not have existed. The problem is, he might or might not have existed for several hundred years before anyone even thought to write anything down. So let's see if we can clear it up a bit.
