In this special episode, our host Captain Jamie Kavanaugh jumps to the other side of the microphone to share his personal story including a harrowing attempted rescue story and how that experience helped to change his life in awful and subsequently wonderful ways. Growing through adversity is the order of the day as he shares his perspective on finding work-life balance and discovering the importance of peer support in the fire service.
