Becca and I talk about messy soul work, and I realize that my spiritual beliefs are changing, and I am totally okay with not knowing what I believe...right now.

Bryan Malloy (Becca's husband) says that, if you go to church thinking about fishing, then maybe you should go fishing and think about God.

Let's let that one sink in...

Becca Malloy is a 38-year-old widow, mom, blogger, and speaker. She lost her husband of 5 years in August of 2015, and that began the journey into soul work and spirituality. As the wife of an associate pastor and worship leader, she thought she had the faith and grief part understood until it happened to her.

Since the loss of her husband who was only 37 years old at the time of his death, she has dove deep into what happens when faith and fear collide and became an administrator in several grief groups online and realized that grief is not talked about enough in any church or spiritual setting. She has devoted herself to becoming a grief support advocate and recently became ordained in ministry with the goal of helping others heal through faith, soul work and the power of the human connection found in grief.

She is the author of the blog; Grace Filled Grief on Facebook and on Instagram.

Becoming a widow has changed her views on what truly happens to our faith and how important it is to be authentic in what you are feeling. She is committed to helping the grieving community find peace without the fear of judgment in whatever spiritual setting they are in.
