Hand KnittingGrandma’s Favorite Dishcloth this one is by Ruth Slate but there are others out there. I do a kfb increase to avoid the yarn over. I use 3.75 mm or US5 needles.

The Retro Rib Socks by Evelyn A. Clark from Favorite Socks - 25 Timeless Designs is going to be frogged. I’m going to reuse the Integrity yarn in the Dune colorway.

Machine KnittingI made six pairs of socks at the Third Annual Lake Michigan Sock Retreat. Boot Socks for my sister was the first. Check out my Ravelry project pages for the others.

Erlbacher aluminum cylinders for Legare CSM. Beware that Aluminum + oil = black marks. This pair shows the mark I am trying to remove.

I’m still working on my vest project. I’ve been inspired by Carol Scott truethreads@aol.com. Regardless of which stitch pattern I use, I will be using Garment Designer. Cochenille is the company behind the software.

Try It!English Rib + Knitting machine and ribber = Brioche stitch.
