Coming to you from Chiba, greater Tokyo, Japan, I am very fortunate to discuss science with Professor Carle M. Pieters of Brown University. Professor Peiters is one of the pioneers of the use of remote sensing data coupled with laboratory experiments to understand the composition of Solar System rocky bodies. She stated her career working on data from the Apollo missions and gives us an insight into her passion and a summary of her career accomplishments to date.
