Have a Chat with Vaughan Hay

Today’s guest on have a chat is Allan Hill who’s a traveller, script writer and now podcaster and all round interesting/adventurous guy who also loves having a chat.

We spoke about his ambition to join the airforce at at a young age and getting so close to getting in but just missing out at the end stage and the challenges he faced afterwards not knowing which direction his life now would lead. Feeling lost Allan decided to travel and his 5 week trip to USA is where he discovered himself through new experiences and getting to know all kinds of different people. This led to him buying a one way ticket to London with a 10kg bag with all his belongings and he’s never looked back.

Through this journey he has now found his creative side which has led Allan down the path of screenwriting for plays and cartoon films. He has also published a children’s book called ‘Baby’s day in London‘. Allans latest creation is his Podcast platform called ‘The Nostalgic Vagabond’ This is a episodic podcast where old travel companions and friends he has meet on the way share their travel story’s for people to hear.
