Dan Jenski was inspired to make a film about the dangers of Adderall after he witnessed first hand his college friends turning to the drug to cope with the stress. As he found out more about the drug, he realised the large majority of users were completely unaware of the dangerous side effects. It was the realisation that 80% of college students surveyed believed that there were no dangers that inspired him to make ADDicted. * ADDicted was shot entirely on location at the Missouri State University, Columbia campus where Jenski was once a college student himself.
