Hosted by Renata Henley with poor scholar Mike O'Laughlin This well known tune, or should we say chorus, is very simple to learn. The words we use here are to the version written by Patrick Pearse, before the coming of the Irish Free State. The tune dates back at least to the 17th century. Today we try an unrehearsed version of the song ourselves, so feel free to sing along !
