From the highest of highs in John McTiernan's all but perfect original to the lowest of lows via the AvP franchise and, yes, despite what Rob might tell you, Shane Black's horrendously misjudge legacy sequel, Dan Trachtenberg's stripped-back take on the franchise is mercifully closer in quality to the original.
