HISTORY WORTH SAVING - Western author Frank Allan Rogers got his start writing for the legendary Heath Company long before his career as a novel writer began. Back in the day before cheap electronics, American's often built their favorite gadgets from kits. If you wanted a nice stereo, but couldn't afford one from the store, Heath Company offered a kit that you could built. Short wave radios, stereos, speakers even car alarms were offered in kit form and Frank was one of the guys who helped make it all possible.
