Please Help Nominate "Verses In Vox" For The 2017 People's Choice Podcast Awards!

Greetings! Welcome to the Holbrook New Media Audio Feed. We do Audio, Video, Content Creation, and That Other Stuff. holbrooknewmedia.com.

There won't be a Geoff & Jeffrey Weekly Catch Up Show this week, but something else has come up, and I wanted to bring it to your attention, and, frankly, ask for your help.

I have really enjoyed working Porchlight Family Media on their Verses in Vox podcast from time to time. This short form show takes classic poetry and brings it to life with a dramatic reading, then composing and performing original music and sound effects. It is professionally produced and I must say, you have never experienced poetry like this.

I have been privileged to do the voice narration on a few of these productions and it has been a wonderful experience. They were even sensitive to trying to get the production of one of my father's favorite poems, "The Village Blacksmith" completed in time before he passed away this past April. I will include the audio of that and other projects I was involved with after I explain where I need your help.

Verses In Vox has been selected as one of a small group of shows competing for nomination in the 2017 People's Choice Podcast Awards. Here is the text of an email J.D. Sutter, the Producer and Editor at Porchlight Family Media, sent to us:

Hello Verses In Vox Team!

We have submitted Verses In Vox into the 2017 People's Choice Podcast Awards and have passed all the criteria and been accepted into the first slate of programs.

We are in the nomination phase right now and I wanted to ask you to please submit a nomination for us.

All you have to do is: go to podcastawards.com click the big blue nomination banner register with your email (this is to prevent fraudulent voting) select Verses In Vox in both the "Arts" and "People's Choice" categories click "Save"

The nominations must be submitted by July 31st. This should only take a couple minutes and I thank you very much for helping us out! :)

One more thing, you do not have to select any shows in the other categories if you don't want to.
