This week, (Bishop) Jim Swilley visits the podcast to chat with Scott and Jon about his journey. Jim was the founding pastor of Church in the Now near Atlanta, Georgia which grew over many years to be a popular megachurch in the Southeast. However, all of that changed when Jim revealed to his megachurch congregation that he was gay and preached for the inclusion of all people into the Church. What followed was a whirlwind of change and ultimately the megachurch closed. Jim chats with Scott and Jon about that experience and what he's doing now (Spoiler alert: he's still a spiritual leader/pastor and even an artist!). Jim's story is truly inspirational and a must listen.
