The short answer is yes. But the longer answer is it will depend on what you have signed and what they can force. Everything is subject to scrutiny by someone else of a higher power. In real estate, you have the agents, then the broker, then the CAR attornies (at least in CA) - etc. In Escrow you have the escrow officer, the manager, then other entities, such as their legal department who will exhibit their understanding of a particular situation. When it comes to real estate - there are many attornies involved when a deal breaks down. Especially, when one party or the other feels as if they have not been treated fairly. I want to ensure that all of my Santa Clarita home buyers and California home sellers are very well protected in the process of buying or selling real estate.
