Are you being 'too general' or 'too specific' in your videos?

Our ultimate aim for any video, should be to get as much use from it as possible - this means thinking about longevity.

But when we write scripts and shoot videos it's usually easy to fall into a trap of making the script really precise - usually so we help out customers. For example, we include a price or a perhaps a date. But doing so can limit the use of our video as if anything changes, it's unusable.

And when we start to look at that, we can often head too far the other way - making the video too generic or general. And if we're here - we lose the viewers attention.

It's a real fine balance between the two, and in today's episode I talk about that.
