Hello, everyone!

This week, Some Guy in Austin is back, and we travel back to 1986 to discuss one of our favorite movies, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It’s one of THE BEST! Just listen to this synopsis:

“Ferris Bueller has an uncanny skill at cutting classes and getting away with it. Intending to make one last duck-out before graduation, Ferris calls in sick, ‘borrows’ a Ferrari, and embarks on a one-day journey through the streets of Chicago. On Ferris’ trail is high school principal Rooney, determined to catch him in the act.”

Ferris taught us that we should have at least three fake accents in our repertoire, that it is okay to covet Sloane’s hair, and that a black and brown vest paired with a leather jacket and white patent shoes sounds like a fashionable nightmare, but actually withstands the test of time.

But most importantly, Ferris taught us that life moves pretty fast. If we don’t stop and look around once in a while, we could miss it.
