Welcome to episode 4! Today we discuss a question we get asked a lot. So, what is it like to be a child or teen with an incurable disease like Crohn's? Also, what is it like to parent and caregiver for these kids? We start of by sharing Mason's diagnosis, the fears it can cause, and the ways life can change. We did our best to keep it simple and to the point although we know this topic has a lot more ways life can change. Maybe we can add a future episode to get further into the topic! We hope this episode will help you if you are an adult or child suffering from Crohn's disease or any chronic illnes\, know somebody who is, or are just interested in learning more about aspects of chronic illness. We are family friendly and want kids to be involved! Listen together, separately, but ultimately we hope we bring some attention to some well deserved topics on chronic illness.
