Welcome to episode 9! Mason is still in a flare but feeling better! We decided to proceed with our regular series since he was excited to do it. Today's episode focuses on our ideas to handle unsupportive family and friends who don't try to understand Crohn's disease (or really any chronic illness). We also go into how to help people who don't understand chronic illness but want to be supportive. We definitely don't have all the answers but we hope our experiences might help you and might also make you feel supported. We hope this episode will help you if you are an adult or child suffering from Crohn's disease or any chronic illness, know somebody who is, or are just interested in learning more about aspects of chronic illness. We are family friendly and want kids to be involved! Listen together, separately, but ultimately we hope we bring some attention to some well deserved topics on chronic illness.
