The average car on the road today is 11.5 years old which means it probably doesn't have the luxury of a back-up camera. You can have a camera installed on your older vehicle, but a new company has developed a simpler, wireless version that can be installed in 10 minutes.

Pearl Automation, based south of San Jose, California, is largely made up of former Apple employees. Pearl's focus is to provide the latest technology to your existing car.

Ignition host Howard Green caught up with Saket Vora, hardware architect at Pearl Automation, to find out about the new technology they're working on.
