In 1933, an unknown actress starred in one of the most controversial films every made. Ecstasy was a Czech erotic romantic drams directed by Gustav Machaty that went on to be banned in multiple countries for the nude scenes featuring a then 17 year old Hedy Lamarr and it's frank depictions of female pleasure.
