It’s time for another “Film Fridays”, and another trip down to our beloved Crystal Lake. As always, we’re joined by “the queen of the spooky”, Devyn Ray, to unpack all of the crazy that lies in this fifth installment into the Friday the 13th film franchise. Zacary and Devyn discuss the continuing story of a now teenage Tommy Jarvis, from the last film, as he meets a truly 80’s-tastic group of misfits. This movie is packed with so many horror tropes, and too many characters to care about. Also, somehow there is a lot of ranting about the musical, “Guys and Dolls” (just as a warning). And of course, like they always do, they award their personal choices for the honors of “scream queen of the week”, and “kill of the week”. So let’s go campers!
