Matts early season success with a bow, his first our of state archery buck, and a multi-generational family pheasant hunt in South Dakota. Mike and Matt talk about how their friendship and comradery made so many of these hunts, tracks and the entire hunting season more enjoyable because you have someone to share it with. Matt's 12 year old son Luke talks about learning patience and the importance of passing deer to get a chance at bigger deer. Throughout this episode you will hear about getting kids into the outdoors and using this sport we love to teach life lessons, and the value of fellowship at deer camp. Whitetail hunting gives us the best of both worlds..... solitude sitting alone in a tree stand watching the sun come up and getting a chance to hear the woods wake up while having someone to share success and struggles with at the same time.
