How would a guaranteed income of $1,000 sound? Or what about a guaranteed job with a living wage and bargaining power? In this episode we debate two options, a universal basic income versus a federal jobs guarantee, that would provide provide relief to millions of struggling Americans. While we are in the middle of not only a pandemic but an economic and financial crisis now more than ever Americans are hurting. By the end of December, 19 million Americans will be evicted in the middle of winter. Millions of Americans are out of work.
