In this episode we talk to exercise physiologist and health coach Sarah Liz King about healing your relationship with exercise during eating disorder recovery. Exercise is often seen as a virtue in our society, but for people with an eating disorder exercise can become quite the opposite. It can become excessive and compulsive – to the point that it takes over your life and becomes dangerous for your health. Sarah joins us to share her own experiences of overcoming an eating disorder and how she found peace with her exercise and her body. We also discuss how to safely exercise in eating disorder recovery, how to know when you’re doing too much and what to do about it, the role of social media, and more..
