Real estate is the only time-tested business model that provides a wealth-building opportunity, the ability to make real passive income and make more money in a year than doctors or lawyers. That is why it is always right to jump into real estate, try out things and even fail. Each failure gives you a fresh opportunity to pivot and become better. Clay Rockwood is such a person who has worked in several niches within real estate before finally finding his passion in multifamily investing.

Clay Rockwood’s journey began in 2008 as a broker and real estate agent. However, this did not give him much freedom in finances and time because he had to work extra hard for long hours and on the weekends. Together with his brother, they got into flipping homes, but the market still became competitive, especially from the wholesaling space. That led him, with a new business partner, to wholesale single-family homes.

In the process of intensive marketing and sourcing off-market deals, they still came across off-market multifamily properties and took that opportunity to acquire them as side deals. Clay has personally been involved in over 500+ real estate transactions. Soar Capital Group, a company he founded, is a small boutique investment firm that has ownership and management control for 240 multifamily doors with a combined market value of $30M+ spread across 27 different properties.

Tune in to get Clay’s insights, investing tips, and much more.
