In this episode, we are joined by special guest Anthony Otero to discuss the culture represented in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The major point of discussion: how Miles as a Puerto Rican and Afro-Latino superhero has different relationships and connections to his parents and their respective heritage. We also discuss Miles' relationship with his Uncle Aaron-better known as the Prowler-and how the game addresses the Black Lives Matter movement and the passing of Chadwick Boseman. We also discuss the Into the Spider-Verse sequel gaining a new trio of deals, Sony striking yet ANOTHER streaming deal to place their films and TV shows including the Spider-Man franchise on Disney's streaming services, a certain actor's tidbits about Spider-Man: No Way Home, and our thoughts on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's finale and the announcement of Captain America 4.
