Social anxiety affects so many different parts of my business and it can be really difficult to manage how I show up and give energy on a daily basis. One of the things I’ve shared before on this podcast (episode 41!) is that I don’t think you need to push yourself outside of your comfort zone in order to grow as a person. Today on the podcast, I’m sharing about a situation I was in recently where I really should have taken my own advice! If you have social anxiety, or you sometimes can’t just “push through” things that others can, today’s episode is the permission slip you’ve been looking for so that you can take a step back and allow yourself to do what feels right for you.

In this episode, we’ll dive into:

  • Why I signed up for an in-person retreat even though I have social anxiety
  • How thinking about this retreat was affecting me
  • Why I made the decision I did
  • How I feel now I’ve made the decision and why I will always take my advice in future

If you enjoyed this episode, I invite you to drop a five-star rating + review with your biggest takeaway, so that other introverts can find this podcast for guidance and support through their introvert entrepreneur journey!
